Mission 

 
The South East High School counseling department strives to provide a data-driven comprehensive program that addresses the needs and interests of all students, as it relates to their academic, social-emotional, and college/career development. In collaboration with educational partners, school counselors advocate for equity and equal access for all students to ensure they graduate with the attitudes, knowledge, and skills to become college and career ready.

The vision for South East High School graduates is for all students to achieve academic success, social emotional growth, and attain a fulfilling career aligned with their interests and abilities. Students will be empowered to thrive as effective problem solvers, responsible citizens, resilient individuals and productive contributors to our society.

Requesting Transcripts

Official Transcripts are available upon request IN PERSON ONLY at our Counseling Office from 7:30 AM - 4:30PM.
ID is required.
Transcript's available free of charge.
Institutions may send a fax request to: (323)568-3447.
Be aware that we do not give out electronic copies of Official Transcripts to institutions or alumni.

Work Permit Application Requirements

Follow these steps:
  • GET A JOB OFFER FIRST
  • Obtain work permit at the Counseling Office.
  • Fill out the form completely and properly (PRINT LEGIBLY); obtain signatures from your Employer and Parents.
  • Return the application to Counseling Office.
 
Requirements:
1. Student must have a 2.0 GPA or better.
2. Student must have a 96% Attendance Rate or better.
3. Student must not have more than 3 Tardies.
4. Student must not have any "U"s in Cooperation or Work Habits.
5. Student must not have any discipline issues.
